Rome official: The club has not received any purchase offer,

Live broadcast, August 12-Rome officially issued a statement that Fridkin group had not received any purchase offer and had no intention to sell it.

Rome Sport reported that Italian businessman Frieri offered an offer of about 0.85 billion euros to buy Rome. The two sides had negotiated for several months since December 2022, however, the official statement issued by the Club of Rome denied relevant reports.

Roman officials wrote: “Regarding the content appearing in some newspapers, Rome clarified that it had not received any offer to buy the club, and Fridkin group had no intention of selling the club, we will take legal actions against those who want to undermine the stability of the club and the group just to gain popularity.”

Fridkin Group bought Rome from Jim palota at a price of 0.591 billion euros in August 2020, and then invested 0.225 billion euros to withdraw the club from the stock exchange.
